This refined project on the California coastline required the most in depth and subtle material finessing of perhaps any project to date. From the board form concrete with just the right tone and aggregate, to the interior woodwork that on one hand is perfectly smooth but also has so much depth and character. This project pushed us on materiality and we loved the challenge.
